My Job and the Role of Digital Tools

My job duties as a Logistics & Administration Executive in a pharmaceutical company included organizing shipments based on customer requirements and product availability. I was in charge of ensuring that the relevant documentation for import operations was correct and on time. In addition, I worked with suppliers and transportation companies to guarantee that goods were delivered to customers on time. I kept order records up to date and gave customer information as needed. My responsibilities included monitoring logistics operations and administrative activities to ensure that the organization’s processes ran smoothly and efficiently.

In my job, I actively made use of the incredible prospects given by digitalization. Outlook was my primary email communication tool, allowing me to communicate critical information, react to queries, and handle quotations. The easy-to-use interface and capabilities enabled me to maintain professional contact while also responding to customer demands quickly.

WhatsApp has shown to be an extremely useful tool for quick and effective communication. Its instant messaging capabilities allowed me to reply to customer inquiries quickly, provide timely updates, and handle a variety of commercial responsibilities. WhatsApp also facilitated good internal communication within the company, allowing for quick information exchange and cooperation among team members.

Microsoft Office Excel and Word were indispensable in my daily tasks. I regularly Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word. These applications allowed me to collect, evaluate, and report on data. Excel, in particular, was critical in handling and organizing logistics-related data. Word made it easier to create professional documents.

Google Websites has proven to be a useful tool for tracking shipments and assuring on-time delivery. I was able to track the progress of shipments, receive correct information, and provide exact updates to customers by utilizing its tracking features. This allowed for more effective logistics management and guaranteed that supplies were made on time, increasing customer satisfaction.

Todoist: Todoist is a task management tool that helps individuals and groups organize and prioritize their tasks. To-do lists can be useful tools for deadlines, and progress tracking. The benefits of Todoist include its simplicity, cross-platform interoperability, and the ability to collaborate on tasks with team members.

WIX: WIX is a website-building platform that can help to establish and maintain an online presence. It can be used to refresh the company’s offerings, such as products and services. It enables to learn more about the provider with whom we are collaborating. This tool can develop for selling online, creating a blog and organizing events advertising your business, and building your community.

Positive and Negative aspect of Social Media

Social media has an impact on every part of our lives. Everything, including social media, has pros and disadvantages. Social networking, like any other technology, has both advantages and disadvantages. Social media has transformed communication by enabling global connectivity and the sharing of experiences. It allows for the rapid dissemination of news and information, encouraging participation and learning. It provides opportunities for networking and career improvement. Social media, on the other hand, brings problems such as cyberbullying and invasion of privacy, distributes disinformation, leads to addiction and time distraction, and raises issues about data security and privacy.

By the use of technology, organizations can progress workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and empower users to be more productive and efficient. Whether it’s through process automation, collaborative tools, or data analytics, technology enhancement can significantly improve organizational effectiveness.

I’ve acquired a lot about digital tools that were previously unknown to me. This increased understanding has opened up an immense number of opportunities for using these tools in my daily activities. some of the digital tools were new to me. I assessed my level of ability with digital tools and chose the specific tools that I am proficient in using effectively in my profession. This has reinforced the need for constant learning and remaining updated with the latest digital technologies. Furthermore, These newly learned skills have been useful in my professional activities, and I am excited to keep refining my skills.
